Another WR Commit

Not quite as out of the blue as the Rodriguez Coleman commitment from a month or so ago, but still unexpected. WR Max Morrison out of Kenton High School committed to UC on Friday over offers from Vanderbilt, Air Force, and Kent State. There is some speculation that his offer could be of the Grey Shirt variety but judging on his comments in the article I would have to say it's not.

"They’re in a BCS conference and it’s close to home, and they run the exact offense that I think I fit into well," Morrison said. "They have two senior receivers right now so that will open up the door for playing time when I get there."

A kid with a grey shirt offer won't talk about instant playing time. Morrison does have some Bearcat connections besides the obvious Kenton one. His grandfather is Joe Morrison who stared for UC as a running back and quarterback before going onto a 14 year career in the NFL with the Giants. As of now that makes five WR's in this class, and that is after taking 4 a year ago, 5 if you count Munchie Leguax as a WR which is where he is now playing. At least one, and more probably two will have to move to defense.
