Steve Hancock was a walk on the Bearcats program in the 2008. Hancock is originally from Sterling, Virginia where he was an all conference performer for Potomac Falls. A defensive lineman Hancock was primarily used as a practice player in 2008 and 2009. Last year in 2010 Hancock broke into the rotation playing in 8 games and posting two tackles. For his career Hancock notched 6 tackles, 1 sack and 2.5 tackles for loss in 14 games played. He has taken a step to the side in 2011 as the Bearcats depth has improved dramatically. Hancock has only appeared in four games this season.
