Yancy Gates Suspended Indefinitely

PrintI was going to wait 18 hours to post something but Yancy Gates did not make the trip to Pittsburgh for UC's 71-59 loss to Pittsburgh. That kind of preempted my idea of sitting and stewing for a while. However word has trickled out that Yancy Gates has been suspended indefinitely by Mick Cronin for the ubiquitous violation of team rules. More than likely he has been suspended for not trying. Ever. Even with the sporadic effort Gates has enough talent that taking him off the roster fatally wounds UC's NCAA tournament bid hope and more than likely Cronin's job as well. Lets see what happens as the story develops.

I'm not saying he does or did
but IMO he looks like a typical pot smoker, doesn’t he? or is it just me seeing all of his laziness and ignorant decision making. If he does smoke pot then at least he has an excuse for his play, b/c he really does have talent if he puts his mind to it. He can be so much better than he is/was..
Yancy, get your head out of your ass or your lips away from the glass. Whatever it is your doing to screw your life up. Stupid waste of talent and a life if he doesn’t change it.
