Today is signing day so there is a lot of ground to be covered and this post will be markedly shorter than recent iterations, and with good reason as I am blowing out the signing day coverage today so stay tuned throughout the day.

Coach Jones and crew are putting together a phenomenal class. While stars and ratings of incoming recruits aren’t the be-all end-all to winning championships in college football, teams who bring in more three-, four-, and five-star prospects (i.e. Nearly everybody under the SEC banner) tend to win more games. I don’t have the hard numbers to back that up but I’ve paid close enough attention to college football to know there’s a linear relationship between the two.

Pead planted seed for the NFL | Cincinnati.com | cincinnati.com
The UC standout is headed back to Athletes Performance in Phoenix to resume training for the NFL Scouting Combine, which will be in three weeks in Indianapolis. With a good week of practices and showing his skills on two punt returns, Pead helped boost his stock headed into the draft.
Rumors abound that Pead will run in the 4.3's at the combine.
