President Greg Williams has stated that he expects the Crosstown Shootout to continue next year as perviously scheduled.

"Every indication is that we are going to play next year," University of Cincinnati president Greg Williams said Monday. "We’re looking at it. (Xavier University president) Father Graham and I have talked about it a number of times."

Williams, who emphasized that a final decision has not been made, said a group of advisors is looking at "what the game should look like going forward" and that the group will make recommendations to him.

I don't find this to be particularly surprising or all that news worthy. As much as it would make sense to postpone the game for a year considering just how hype filled and highly strung next years contest was going to be I never really expected it to happen. That's my take whats yours
