The story on everyone's mind right now, the report of charges pressed against a UC Basketball player that broke last night will be dealt with as possible. Here are some other stories making news while i've been away.
One thing is clear about this off season and its expansion rumors, they are at least more transparent than previous editions. First there was Louisville openly declaring that they would prefer to be in the Big 12 over the Big East. Now the Florida State Board of Trustees is getting in on the action. The full quote.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees I can say that unanimously we would be in favor of seeing what the Big 12 might have to offer. We have to do what is in Florida State's best interest.
Transparent though it is that statement makes me dread the next three and a half months.
In less depressing news about the Basketball team Sean Kilpatrick has been named one of the 12 best Juniors in the country by Mike Hugenin of rivals.com. I am expecting a big year from Kilpatrick next season. Doubly so as he moves into a more central role in the offense with Dion Dixon and his unending touches moving on. The next step is for him to become a playmaker off the dribble.
