Wide Receiver | 1990-92
In a pre spread era at Cincinnati the contributions of Marlon Pearce were hard to overlook. He left Clifton ranked second on the all time receiving list. Only Jim O'Brien's 2,285 yards exceeded Pearce's 2,096. Pearce is a guy who stood out for Tim Murphy's early teams even though those squads were pretty bad winning 8 games over his three years on the team. As such he didn't get to reap the rewards that would come from the stability that Murphy brought to the program.
