Cincinnati Announces Big East Basketball Opponents

The Bearcats schedule is now set for all intents and purposes. There are a few games against nameless, faceless directional schools yet to be bought but the rough outline of the schedule is in crystal clear focus right now. Today the Big East released every teams home and road opponents. Here is the UC release. And the games.

There is a lot to get to here so bullet points? Bullet points!

-- Home docket seems a little light in terms of sure fire top 25 squads

-- I like the Mirror games, all big names and big games sure to keep the interest of the neutral up.

-- I don't particularly care for Louisville and Syracuse being on the road, but at least Goergetown and Marquette are home games

-- No more St. John's home and home. Thats great news as the last two seasons set the sport back about 50 years in Queens and Clifton

-- Last year for Pitt being in the conference. Time for the Bearcats to sweep all three Football and Basketball games no?

-- Not entirely sure the road schedule is favorable to picking up quality wins for the tournament resume should it come to that.
