Defensive Line | Letters 1975-78
Simply put Howie Kurnic was a production machine for the Bearcats defense in the mid 70's. He made stops, he forced turnovers, recovered fumbles at an ungodly rate and was just generally a man with his hat on the ball at all times. Kurnic ranks in the top 15 all time in tackles, assisted tackles, tackles for loss and fumbles recovered. That is why he has a spot on this list.
