Prolific defensive linemen are something of a hallmark for the Bearcats, and George Jamison is one of the most prolific. He ranks in the top ten all time in career sacks ( 18 ) and tackles for loss ( 37.0 ) and he also has one of the most productive seasons as a sack artist with 8 sacks during the 1982 season. His linemate from that season Errol Cleveland also had 8 sacks that year. But it was Jamison who was named an honorable mention All American in the next season in 1983.
