Nick Temple was a forgotten man in June. Greg Blair and Jeff Luc had long since monopolized the thoughts of Bearcats fans when it came to the potential of the season to come. So much so that Temple, a guy coming into his third season as a starter was marginalized. It took less than three minutes for his presence to be felt.

The Bearcats senior was limited for the first third of the season and the offense was worse off because of it. Once McClung got back up to speed the Bearcats offense was ready to take off.

The Georgia native came into his own in 2013 and started playing at a level commensurate with his name, and he is still only a Sophomore.

The lanky senior from Plantation, Florida put together another solid season for the Bearcats on the edge. In a year that was largely shaped by injuries, Drane was a rock solid foundational piece of the defense.

The Pittsburgh native brought his Cincinnati career to an end with another great season manning the middle of the Bearcats defense. His production was down slightly from a season ago, but Blair still exerted an enormous influence on the Bearcats defense in 2013.

The greyshirt freshman from Middletown was a revelation in his first season. He did not begin the season as a starter, but he took the job by force after the Illinois game and never looked back.

Bearcats Top 10: #8 Shaq Washington

The diminutive slot receiver came into his own this year after spending 2012 buried on the depth chart. He could have spent this year as a rotational piece as well if not for an injury.

Bearcats Top 10: #9 Chris Moore

The lanky Sophomore from Tampa came into his own in 2013 finishing third on the team in receptions and yards and first in touchdown catches with 9. Not bad for a guy who was making his first extended foray into the receiver rotation after being a reserve in 2012.
