Bearcats Bahamas Bound

Frank Victores-USA TODAY Sports

Looks like the Bearcats will be headed to the Bahamas in August.

ESPN's Andy Katz reports that Cincinnati will be part of a list of basketball royalty headed to the Bahamas in August. Other headliners include Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State (Sorry, "The Ohio State"), Pittsburg, and Ole Miss.

Discussing the trip Mick Cronin said, "We've got a lot of new guys. We've been planning this for two years.'' It is nice to know that Cincinnati thinks two years ahead.

The Bearcats are tentatively scheduled to play P.J. Stingers on August 15th (7:00 PM). Should be a great experience for the players. I don't really consider this good news or bad news - just news.
