It has been a good couple of weeks for the Cincinnati Bearcats on the commitment front. Things got better this week as Cody Lamb announced his commitment to the program.

Lamb, an offensive tackle from Miamisburg, Ohio, picked UC six days after receiving an offer and four days after attending camp at Michigan State. (Eat it, Sparty!). A three-star prospect for the 2017 class according to 247Sports, he is listed as the No. 63 recruit in Ohio and the 134th prospect at his position. The 6'4", 260-pound lineman also had offers from UConn, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Indiana and Wake Forest, among others.
Earlier this week, UC got commitments from two other three-star recruits in tight end Wil Huber and defensive end Jamal Hines. Along with those two, Tommy Tuberville's staff now has added eight hard commits to the 2017 class. Lamb joins Huber and Hines as well as quarterback Desmond Ridder, running back Jaelen Greene, wide receiver Jordan Merrell, athlete Jalen Walker and offensive lineman Blake Yager.
