Chances are that if you read this blog you received an email from UC in the past couple hours on realignment. If not the email is posted in its entirety over at Bearcats blog. The basic gist as I take it. UC has no options at this point. The only way forward is with the Big East, come what may

UC is getting nice and comfy in that 4th spot. Almost everyone had UC 4th or 5th in the Big East. Which is probably about right.
UC checking in at a solid 4th. That's my expectations for the season as well.

Warren Central and Colerain will be on ESPN this weekend. (WC Today, Colerain tomorrow. View this as your notice and gamethread if you so choose.
Deionte Buckley, Jonathan Burt, Josh Posley and Deyshawn Bond of Warren Central High School start the season tonight.
Arkeilpane is the most logical choice to be interim AD. He recently turned down the AD job at the Coast Guard Academy. His are a steady pair of hands to keep things ticking over. Though I suspect that Greg Williams will be handleing the longer term things. Just my hunch.
