Butch Jones picked up his fourth commitment in the class of 2011 today when Brandon Mitchell committed. Mitchell is a local product out of Withrow High School. He plays defensive tackle and stands 6'2" and weighs in at 300 pounds. UC was his first BCS offer, and the only one at the time of his commitment, though that is likely to change as the cycle continues on. He was very impressive at the Kentucky camp and is very likely to see his offer sheet continue to grow. He is a big kid, you don't see many kids at the high school level that are legit 300 pounders that carry the weight in the right way. He is incredibly strong which is both an asset and a determent to his play as a defensive lineman. He tries to physically dominate each and every player on every snap. While I do like that aggressiveness he needs to learn that destroying your man on every play isn't necessary, often times simply beating your man does the job. No youtube available, video here.
