Bearcat Bits for June 8th

Mick Cronin has publicly stated what is being assumed by everyone, namely that they are looking for at least one more person for the class of 2012. At this point the only two names out there that would seem to fit the criteria Cronin has laid out are Chris Obekpa and Corban Collins.

As basically everyone knows at this point Obekpa is all but signed sealed and delivered to St. John's. As such he is effectively off the board which leads us back to Collins. Collins visited LSU yesterday and could very well be in Baton Rouge as you read this. He is slated to come to Clifton on the 22nd and make a decision not long thereafter. I would be thrilled if Mick can somehow pull in both guys but that seems most unlikely at this point with Collins having most likely status now, in my mind at the very least
