Tip sheet for ESPN's Tip-Off Marathon || ESPN
Last season, Warren was a hyper-efficient tweener freshman on an overstuffed NC State offense. This season he's the main attraction, and his first game Friday night -- 29 points on 13-of-20 shooting, with six rebounds, three steals and a block against Appalachian State -- provided a glimpse of what could be a monster offensive season. Warren and the Wolfpack go to Cincinnati at 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday night.
Bearcats face variety of bowl game scenarios | Cincinnati.com | cincinnati.com
UC also has drawn mention for the Pinstripe Bowl (Yankee Stadium) and Russell Athletic Bowl (Orlando), with both games Dec. 28. The Pinstripe would take the No. 4 AAC finisher, the Russell Athletic the No. 2 AAC finisher.
Russell Athletic Bowl please. I think that would be the best chance for this team to pick up a good win outside of Louisville. The ACC's third team, probably Miami, is almost certain to be ranked.
Rutgers DT Darius Hamilton, RB Justin Goodwin doubtful for Cincinnati game | NJ.com
Rutgers could be short a couple of key starters as it tries to reach bowl eligibility when Cincinnati visits High Point Solutions Stadium on Saturday, with defensive tackle Darius Hamilton and running back Justin Goodwin listed as doubtful on the injury report released today.
The Hamilton news is big. He has really lived up to the hype surrounding his recruitment this season becoming a force at defensive tackle. If someone plays in his stead there will be a drop off.
Cincinnati Game At Houston Set For Noon Kickoff || Cincy on the Prow
The only silver lining is that there’s a possibility the Worldwide Leader will air the game on ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPNews. Either of those channels are far more appealing options than an ESPN3 broadcast. Regardless, I’m not sure what the Bearcats did to ESPN to warrant noon kickoffs for damn near every single Saturday game this season.
