Boone spent most of his career playing as a wide receiver, and he was pretty good at it as the video above can attest. But Boone is going to be a running back as a Bearcat. Long term that is probably his best fit with this team. At 5'10" and 200 pounds he doesn't fit the mold of a deep threat in this offense. His dimensions scream running back, I just don't know if he has much experience at the position. Baker County had a 2,000 yard rusher in Miami (OH) commitment Falon Lee, and that might have something to do with Boone playing receiver.

As with most of the guys in this class Boone is a tremendous athlete. He was one of the top triple jumpers in the state of Florida, his personal best is over 46 feet, which in a typical year is one of the 200 or 300 best jumps at the high school level. So yeah, that's pretty good.

The good news for Boone is that running back is by far the easiest position to learn at the college level. There is a modicum of technique, but the position is almost entirely instinctual. All he needs is reps.
