The Amway Coaches Poll for Week 6 is headlined by Ohio State, still secure at the top spot. TCU, Michigan State, Baylor, LSU and Utah each have at least one first-place vote as well.
The big news, as it relates to Cincinnati, is that Memphis is No. 25 on this week's Coaches Poll. Temple has 16 votes and Houston has 11 votes, although both teams remain outside the Top 25. Navy also received 12 votes, but Cincinnati is unlikely to play them this season, unless the Bearcats and Midshipmen find themselves in the AAC Championship at season's end. The AAC, as a conference, has a number of teams making some noise in the national spotlight.
