Guard Jarron Cumberland, a Wilmington, Ohio (Wilmington) native, has signed his national letter of intent to play college basketball with the Cincinnati Bearcats beginning with the 2016-17 season. Cumberland ranks as a Top 100 recruit, according to ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, and ranks as the No. 53 recruit in the Class of 2016. He is considered the No. 8 shooting guard nationally, according to 247Sports, and the 5th best player in the state of Ohio.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Cumberland is a big-time signing for the Bearcats. He brings some offensive prowess to the table, having averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists as a junior last season, en route to a 24-2 record and recognition as a First Team Associate Press Division I All-Ohio player.

Here are some highlights of Cumberland from this past May.
