Cincinnati is coming off a business-like win over Alabama A&M, 52-10, with a very tough matchup against Temple on Saturday on deck.
There really wasn't any expectation that the Bearcats would suddenly jump into AP Top 25 relevancy due to their win over the SWAC East opponent. However, Cincinnati continues to receive votes in the latest AP Top 25 Poll that was released yesterday with seven votes. Interestingly, there were no votes for the Bearcats in the Coaches Poll.
The big storyline from this week's polls is the inclusion of the entire SEC West and 10 total SEC schools. Aside from that, Ohio State remains on top with some seemingly subtle variations throughout the two polls. Texas A&M jumped from unranked in the AP Top 25 to number 16.
Cincinnati has an opportunity to pull themselves a little further into the public's eye this week against a very talented Temple team that already has the nation's attention following their dominating showing against Penn State last week.
