Bearcats Break Back into AP Poll

Coming off a road upset of Iowa State, UC is now No. 22 in the AP Top 25.

NCAA Basketball: Cincinnati at Iowa State Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

When Cincinnati pulled out its 55-54 overtime win over then No. 19 Iowa State on Thursday, it became clear that the Bearcats were going to be ranked come Monday, assuming they took care of business against Bowling Green on Sunday.

UC didn’t have trouble with the Falcons and improved to 7-1, winning its fifth-straight game since a heartbreaking loss to Rhode Island. With Bowling Green taken care of there was nothing standing in the way of the Bearcats return to the AP Top 25. After floundering on the fringes of the poll the last two weeks, UC is now No. 22.

The rest of the poll can be found below. (Iowa State dropped to No. 25 after the loss to UC).
