Here are your AP Top 25 Poll and USA Today Coaches Polls for Week 13. Oklahoma and North Carolina remain atop each poll, same as last week, with the Sooners first in the AP Poll and trailing the Tar Heels in the Coaches Poll. Villanova is No. 3 in the AP Poll and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll. Maryland is the opposite. Iowa is ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll with Xavier No. 5 in the Coaches Poll.
Cincinnati only had one game this past week, but it was a big one for their conference and postseason aspirations with the Bearcats topping the UConn Huskies, 58-57, on the road. Cincinnati has been playing better as of late, after playing themselves out of the polls earlier this season, but it hasn't yet resulted in love from the voters.
Even Cincinnati's losses are looking a little better as the season progresses. In addition to being ranked No. 5 in the Coaches Poll, Xavier is ranked No. 6 in the AP Poll. Meanwhile, SMU ranks No. 12 in the AP Poll, with Iowa State No. 13 and the Cyclones ranked No. 14 in the Coaches Poll. Butler has dropped in recent weeks, but is still receiving votes in the Coaches Poll. VCU, who Cincinnati beat on the road, hasn't lost since falling to the Bearcats. That doesn't hurt Cincinnati's postseason outlook.
The Bearcats are back in action on Thursday night against South Florida at Fifth Third Arena.
