Bearcats Add CB for 2018 Class

Even while they were losing, the Bearcats were winning.

The Cincinnati Bearcats have bolstered their future secondary with another commitment for the 2018 football class.

Cornerback Jaylen Jackson announced his intention to commit to UC last night. The 6’0, 182-pound defensive back hails from Brunswick, Georgia. His measurables, as noted by 247Sports, include a 4.57 second 40 yard dash. UC was one of only two programs to currently have offers out to Jackson, with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons the other.

Jackson is the latest addition to what looks to be a stellar recruiting class for Luke Fickell. Already ranked No. 49 in the country by 247, the 2018 group includes four-star recruit Malik Vann and 17 others. Fellow defensive backs Taj Ward, Arquon Bush and Darnell Shields will be the players Jackson will compete with for playing time once he’s actually on campus.
