Five Bearcats reached double figures in Cincinnati’s third consecutive win to start the 2017-2018 season.
Cincinnati (3-0) hammered Coppin State (0-3) 97-54. This one was never close. Cincinnati led 55-26 at the half, allowing the team’s platoon of walk-ons to get significant minutes. Twelve different Bearcats scored in the blowout victory.
The Bearcats once again shot better than fifty percent and posted 40 points in the paint. Cincinnati dominated every aspect of this game.
Jarron Cumberland is making a habit of leading the team in scoring, posting 19 points on 14 shots. He went 4 of 10 from outside the arc.
Gary Clark wrestled down 9 rebounds to lead Cincinnati while putting up 12 points.
