The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team returns to action this Thursday night at 7 PM. The 7-5 Bearcats will be hosting the 7-2 Bowling Green Falcons at St. Ursula Academy.
The game will be televised online on at GoBearcats.com.
This game will be Cincinnati’s non-conference schedule finale. Last time out, the Bearcats fell at home 87-76 to #13 Ohio State.
Mid-American Conference (MAC) power Bowling Green boasts four different players who average 10 or more points per game: junior guard Carly Santoro (15.1 ppg), sophomore forward Andrea Cecil (10.6 ppg), junior guard Sydney Lambert (10.3 ppg), and senior guard Haley Puk (10 ppg).
The Falcons are an excellent rebounding team. In 7 of their 9 games, they have out-rebounded their opponents. They average fewer than 12 turnovers per game. Cincinnati must compete on the boards and force the Falcons to make more mistakes than usual if they hope to win on Thursday evening.
After you go out and support the Bearcats on Thursday evening, head over to Down the Drive for full coverage of the game.
