The Cincinnati Bearcats will play the Xavier Musketeers in the 85th running of the Crosstown Shootout on Dec. 2 at the Cintas Center.

Xavier will host Cincinnati on December 2nd at the Cintas Center in the annual Crosstown Shootout, per a source.

Although the Bearcats won the Crosstown Shootout this past year (shout out to Jarron Cumberland), they have not won at the Cintas Center since 2001 when they rolled to a 75-55 victory. However, the two teams did play games that needed overtime to settle during the 2005-06 and 2009-10 campaigns. During that 2001 season, the Bearcats went 31-4, won the Conference USA tournament and came four points shy in double overtime from overcoming UCLA to advance to the Sweet 16.
So get ready, folks. On Dec. 2 your heart rate will be elevated.
