Flexibility and versatility is something any program can’t get enough of, and the Cincinnati Bearcats just got a bunch in the way of Justin Jeffery, who announced his commitment to UC this morning.
A blessing like no other thank you to my family, coaches and schools who recruited me. #Bearcats pic.twitter.com/zovOXIAc3P

Jeffery is classified as an athlete, meaning he has no set position and could fit in in a number of spots on the field and on both sides of the ball. It’s likely that he will end up playing either wide receiver or cornerback, since those are the positions he has played primarily. The 6’2, 168-pound high school junior from Richmond Hill, Georgia received nine offers in total before committing to UC. The other teams competing for his services included Central Michigan, Alabama State, Charlotte, The Citadel, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Liberty and Mercer.
Jeffery joins what is already shaping up to be an excellent recruiting class for Luke Fickell. Currently ranked the No. 1 class in the American Athletic Conference and the No. 39 class in the country, Jeffery fits in on a list that includes four-star defensive end Malik Vann and a number of other top tier three-star prospects.
