How to Watch, Stream, Listen: No. 12 Cincinnati Bearcats at UCF Knights

What else are you going to do when its freezing outside?

NCAA Basketball: Central Florida at Cincinnati Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The No. 12 Cincinnati Bearcats picked a perfect time for a trip to Florida. While the temperature in Cincinnati is flirting with the single digits, the Bearcats are getting ready for their next game while enjoying the high 60s down in Orlando. They are currently on a two-game road trip through the Sunshine State, which began on Saturday against the USF Bulls and concludes against the UCF Knights tonight.

Unfortunately, we can’t all take off for Florida when its cold, but that doesn’t mean you can’t follow the Bearcats as they hoop it up.

  • Series history: Points were scarce in two meetings a year ago, with UC winning 60-50 at home and UCF returning the favor with a 53-49 victory in Orlando. That was the first time in nine all-time matchups the Knights have gotten the upper hand against the Bearcats.

In a way, the Bearcats (15-2, 4-0 American Athletic Conference) are back to square one. They began the season ranked No. 12 in the AP poll and that’s just where they are today. In another, more correct sense, they are in a much better spot, as they have won eight-straight games and are undefeated in conference play.

UCF (12-5, 3-2) is in the midst of a renaissance thanks to Johnny Dawkins and his coaching acumen. However, the rise of the Knights was put on pause last time out, as they were dispatched by UConn 62-53. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for a team that hasn’t been to the NCAA Tournament since 2005.
