The red hot Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball seeks out its fifth consecutive win on Saturday January 27th against the East Carolina Pirates.

Cincinnati enters the game with a 13-7 overall mark and a 5-2 record in the AAC. On Wednesday night, they scored a road win at SMU 58-40, the Bearcats’ fourth straight win.
East Carolina enters the game with a 10-10 record and a 2-5 mark in the AAC. The Bearcats and Pirates opened their AAC regular seasons against one another on December 30th. Cincinnati scored a 66-54 victory, lead by senior co-captain Ana Owens, who posted 18 points from her point guard position.
In defeat, East Carolina was led against the Bearcats by their 6’1 junior forward Destiny Campbell, who tied for a team high in that game with 8 points and has been their most consistent offensive presence in league play.
Freshman guard Ariyana Williams, a speedy backcourt scorer, has also figured prominently in the box score for the Pirates this season.
