Women’s Basketball Obliterates Tulsa

Bearcats score third consecutive win, 78-41

The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team pounded Tulsa 78-41 yesterday, earning their third consecutive AAC win in decisive fashion.

The Bearcats improved to 16-10 overall and 8-5 in the AAC with the win.

Tulsa fell to 9-17 overall and 3-10 in the American with the loss.

This home contest held at St. Ursula was over before it began. Cincinnati took a 23-3 win after one quarter.

Cincinnati shot nearly fifty percent from the floor and an astounding .615 from outside.

They dominated the boards, 44-26. Shanice Johnson (10 points), Ana Owens (13 points), Nikira Goings (10 points), and Antoinette Miller (11 points) all reached double figures for the Bearcats.
