Congratulations, everybody. We can all breathe again. After a heart-stopping 40 minutes of basketball, the Cincinnati Bearcats won the American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship with a 56-55 win over the Houston Cougars at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.

Gary Clark was named Most Outstanding Player of the tourney and he more than earned it with 20 points and 12 rebounds and the game-icing free throw. However, Kyle Washington hit the most critical shot of the game, drilling a three-pointer from the top of the key to knot the game at 55-55 with 58 seconds to play. Washington finished with 10 points and Jacob Evans added 12 for the Bearcats (30-4).

Houston got 19 points from Rob Gray, who threw the ball away in the final possession as the Cougars tried to get off a last-second shot. The Cougars also got 15 points from Corey Davis Jr. and 13 from Devin Davis.
