A day after winning the American Athletic Conference Tournament, the Cincinnati Bearcats discovered their fate for the upcoming NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Bearcats will take part as the No. 4 seed in the Corvallis Regional. The other three teams in the regional are the hosting Oregon State Beavers, the No. 2 seed and Big East champion Creighton Bluejays and the No. 3 seed Michigan Wolverines.

The Bearcats (30-29) won their first AAC baseball championship this season and are back in the NCAA Tournament after sitting out every year since 1974.
