The Marquette Golden Eagles pummeled Cincinnati from stem to stern, leaving Ohio with an 86-75 victory.
The 11-point final margin was much closer than this actually felt.
Marquette led by more than 20 for most of the contest.
The bright spots for the Bearcats consisted largely of IIMar’i Thomas’ impressive offensive performance. She posted 32 points on 9 for 11 shooting with 14 of 16 from the free throw line. Her nearly impeccable offensive effort was for naught.
Junior guard Destiny Haymer also kicked in a career-high 13 points.
