A Day of Disappointments and Opportunities: Bearcats are Peach Bowl Bound

Yesterday began with disappointment.

Our Bearcats belonged in the college football playoff but there is nothing to be done or said about that now.

Cincinnati has a fantastic opportunity ahead of them in the Peach Bowl. We will be playing against the University of Georgia, one of college football’s elites, year-in and year-out.

We are playing in a fantastic new venue, Mercedes Benz Stadium, which is as state-of-the-art as any playing facility in professional sports.

We are the New Years’ Day lead in to the two playoff games.

If this is disappointment, I’ll take it every year.

What a showcase it will be for Cincinnati.
