Great news for fans of Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball.

Antoinette Miller, who served as team captain during her senior season, was named the American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year!

Miller excelled in the classroom as a health education major.

On the floor, she averaged a career best 15.6 points per game as a senior and 4.4 assists per game. She was named second team All-AAC and helped guide Cincinnati to a second place finish in the conference. Miller’s leadership during the AAC Tournament also helped lead the Bearcats to their first bid in their conference’s championship game since 2003.

Miller has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Sweden and will begin play this fall.
