Like you needed any more proof.

A couple weeks back, Cincinnati was the only school in the country with three players named to the Jim Thorpe Watchlist. Safeties Derrick Forrest and James Wiggins as well as cornerback Ahmad Gardner all made the cut.

Now, senior safety James Wiggins has been named to the Senior Bowl 250 Watchlist. Despite missing the 2019 season with injuries, Wiggins demonstrated the ability in 2018 to disrupt any team’s rushing attack with his elite tackling abilities. Wiggins is a genuine linebacker in a safety’s body. I cannot wait to see him strap it up against Austin Peay on September 19th.
