Football camp started for the Bearcats at Higher Ground on Wednesday with high hopes amid the uncertainty of this season.

Late on Wednesday afternoon, the AAC announced that conference members would each play their eight conference games on their originally slated dates. Games are scheduled to begin on September 19th.

AAC members are also allowed to schedule four games with opponents who meet the conference’s stringent safety protocols.

If the season does in fact commence in September, the Bearcats will be entering as a nationally-ranked club. The preseason Coaches Poll was released on Thursday with your Cincinnati Bearcats ranked 22nd in the land.

Cincinnati is one of two AAC clubs listed on the poll. UCF checks in one notch higher on the countdown at number 21.

What do you think? Is Cincinnati ranked too highly, too lowly, or just about right for this time of year. Let us know in the comments section.
