Cincinnati’s Football History Versus USF

The Cincinnati Bearcats’ matchup with the USF Bulls this weekend will be the 18th game in the history of the series.

Cincinnati holds a 11-7 lead in the rivalry, having won the last three contests (2018-2020) in generally competitive fashion.

The Cincinnati-USF series has tended towards streaks. The Bearcats whipped the Bulls four straight times (2006-2009) while USF had Cincinnati’s number for three straight seasons between 2015 and 2017.

Historically, both programs have winning records all-time. USF has a .544 winning percentage in their much shorter run as a program while Cincinnati has posted a .521 mark in over a century of football.

In lieu of highlights from last year’s Cincinnati-USF matchup, let’s have a live look in at my all-time favorite USF football player, Bill Gramatica.

Thanks as always for your support for Down the Drive. Looking forward to a fun week of football and, finally, some basketball.
