The 11-10 Cincinnati Bearcats baseball team, fresh off an extra-inning victory over #7 ranked Louisville, begin play in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) this afternoon.
Cincinnati is headed down to the beautiful city of Greenville, North Carolina for a four-game tussle with the East Carolina University (ECU) Pirates.
The four-game set begins at 4 PM and will continue on Friday at 4 PM. Both games will be covered on ESPN+. The Saturday doubleheader, which begins at 1 PM, will be broadcast on ECUPirates.com.
East Carolina is a legitimate power as well, so this will be a big test for Cincinnati.
ECU boasts an 18-5 mark and is currently ranked number 11 in the country. On Tuesday, the Pirates had their own walk-off win—an 11-10 thriller against UNC.
ECU’s power-hitting right fielder Alex Makarewicz led the attack for the Pirates, going 3 for 6 in the game and driving in the game-winning run.
