The AAC Tournament play begins bright and early on Tuesday morning as the number 4 seeded Cincinnati Bearcats face off with the 5th seeded UCF Knights. The game will take place at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida and be broadcast on ESPN+.
The two clubs have met four times this season. Cincinnati and UCF have split the four contests.
Cincinnati enters the game on a hot streak. The Bercats pummeled the second-seeded Tulane Green Wave four straight times last weekend, improving Cincinnati’s overall mark for the season to 29-24 and 18-14 in the AAC.
Earlier today, five Bearcats earned All-AAC honors: Outfielder Paul Komistek and starting pitcher Garrett Schoenele earned first team honors while second baseman Jace Mercer, shortstop/infielder Joey Bellini, and designated hitter Griffin Merritt were named to the second team.
