Tough week for both former Cincinnati Bearcats playing in the Big 3.
DerMarr Johnson scored five points and dished out an assist in 3’s Company’s 50-46 loss at the hands of the 3 Headed Monsters.
With the defeat, 3’s Company falls to 1-2 overall in the round robin, half-court basketball league. They currenly reside in a tie for 8th place in the 12 team league.
Trilogy (2-1) fell for the first time this season, dropping a 51-44 battle to the Triplets in what was a fight for first place in the league.
James White had a strong game for Trilogy, pumping in 11 points while garnering five rebounds. Each week, his contributions for Trilogy have increased this season. White is a stalwart in Trilogy’s lineup, the only player who has been a member of the club for its entire four-year run in the Big 3. Look for him to contribute down the stretch for this strong team as they make a run for a second league title.
