Josh Harrison and A’s Hanging Tough in AL Playoff Race

Cincinnati Bearcats great Josh Harrison has been putting up solid numbers for the Oakland A’s during his brief stint thus far in the Bay Area.

The versatile veteran batsman is hitting .268 over 20 games with the Athletics. Harrison has played 7 different positions for Oakland and hit in 5 different spots in the lineup. He has homered twice and driven in 6 runs.

After a two-game winning streak, the A’s currently find themselves 5.5 back in the AL West behind the Houston Astros. In the Wild Card race, Oakland sits 2.5 games behind the Red Sox for the American League’s final postseason birth.
