UC Offers Three-Star DeGroot

Dawson DeGroot, 6-2 ATH, from Fort Myers, Fla. took to Twitter to let the world know he got an offer from Cincinnati. DeGroot is a three-star recruit according to 247sports. He is the No. 106 ATH and the 262nd ranked recruit in the state of Florida. He has also received offers from Boston College and Central Michigan. UC needs him for no other reason than the fact that selling shirts that say "I am DeGroot" would be the same thing as printing money.

Mick Cronin and UNLV "headed in the direction of marriage", according to ESPN

After a couple days now of "Mick Cronin to UNLV" talk, it appears more and more likely that the Cincinnati native could be taking the UNLV job after all, as ESPN's Jeff Goodman just shared that they are "headed in the direction of marriage" according to sources. It's important to note that nothing is official, but the momentum is clearly building.

So, this is what the season came down to (or at least overtime). Sure, a foul could have been called, but this is just more of the same from a gut-wrenching season with too many of these moments.

Gary Clark Named AAC Defensive Player of the Year

Sophomore forward Gary Clark has been named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. This comes on the heels of Clark being named to the AAC All-Conference Second Team, along with junior Troy Caupain. Clark is averaging 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the Bearcats this season.

Cincinnati's Ryan Leahy Named AAC Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Offensive guard Ryan Leahy has been announced as one of two 2015 American Athletic Conference Football Scholar-Athletes of the Year with Navy guard E.K. Binns being the other. Leahy, who earned all-conference second team honors this season as a senior, registered a 3.62 grade-point average as an undergraduate, earning a bachelor's degree in operations management.

Cincinnati Basketball Signee Jarron Cumberland Scores 52 Points

Cincinnati Bearcats signee Jarron Cumberland went off in Wilmington's 83-39 win over Washington Court House with 52 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals and 6 assists. Yeah... that's pretty good.
