Running back Isaiah Pead ran for 118 yards on 22 carries - his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season - and passed Robert Cooper for fifth on UC's career rushing list.
Pead is on pace to finish 3rd on the Bearcats career rushing list behind Reggie Taylor and DeMarco McCluskey
University of Cincinnati placekicker Tony Miliano (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) has been named the National Placekicker of the Week by the The College Football Performance Awards for the 10th week of the season. Miliano tied the UC single-game record and set a career best with four field goals made in UC's 26-23 come-from-behind win at Pittsburgh Saturday. He made kicks of 27, 40, 32 and 41 yards, the eighth time in school history a kicker has hit four field goals in a game and the first time since Jacob Rogers did it in 2009 at Connecticut. It was Miliano's second career multiple field goal game.
When he arrived in the U. S. in 2009, Mbodj did not speak English except to say, "Hello, how are you doing?" But he has worked on learning the language and now speaks it fluently, along with French and his native Wolof, the language of the largest ethnic group in Senegal.
