Defensive Line | Letters 1998, 2000-02

The top 25 of this list is really dominated by defensive linemen. Its not really a surprise. The best teams in the programs history have been built on the defensive line as much as in the offensive backfield. Arguably the best of the bunch was Antwan Peek who still holds the school records in both sacks and tackles for loss, neither of which is in danger of being eclipsed anytime soon.

His best season as a Bearcat was without a doubt his 2001 season 12.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss for what was statistically a rather porous Bearcats defense. Peek is the only Bearcat to record multiple seasons with 20+ tackles for loss. He was very simply the most disruptive force on one of the deepest defensive lines in UC history, talking about the 2002 group which recorded an astonishing 144 TFL.
