Bearcats Football Schedule For 2014 Is Set

After a long, long, long delay (the blame of which lies partly with the Bearcats) most of the AAC schools finally got around to releasing their schedules today. What follows is a (very) brief breakdown.

The completed, but not yet officially released UC schedule

  • 8/30 -- BYE
  • 9/6 -- BYE
  • 9/12 -- Vs. Toledo (Friday)
  • 9/20 -- Vs. Miami (OH)
  • 9/27 -- @ Ohio State
  • 10/4 -- Vs. Memphis
  • 10/11 -- @ Miami (FL)
  • 10/18 -- @ SMU
  • 10/24 -- Vs. USF (Friday)
  • 10/31 -- @ Tulane (Friday)
  • 11/8 -- BYE
  • 11/15 -- Vs. East Carolina
  • 11/22 -- @ UConn
  • 11/29 -- @ Temple
  • 12/6 -- Vs. Houston

So there it is. Keep in mind that this is not yet official, as UC has yet to release the schedule on their end. However given that every opponent on the docket has now done so I don't see how their could be changes. The posatives are that at least UC doesn't  have to close the season with nine straight games as orignially feared. As for the negatives, not a huge fan of Friday night games, even with UC's moderate successes playing on Friday's. My wildly premature guess is that @ OSU, vs. Memphis, @ Miami, @ SMU will be the toughest stretch of the season.
