The University of Cincinnati football game at Ohio State on Saturday, Sept. 27 will kick off at 6 p.m. and will be televised live on the Big Ten Network, it was announced Tuesday. The game also will be live streamed on BTN2GO.

The Big Ten Network will be broadcasting the game. Obviously that is more than a little bit sub optimal from the Bearcats perspective. For all the shit they take ESPN would be the preferable platform, but that's not happening and what's done is done.

This is the final game on the books between Ohio's two biggest universities and it seems unlikely that the series will be resumed anytime in the near term. After all there was a 68 year gap between the 11th game in the series, played in 1931 and the 12th which was played in 1999. I don't think the next gap in play will be anywhere near as long, but all indications are that it will be a while.
