Tune in Saturday night for the Cincinnati Bearcats’ return to Nippert Stadium where the East Carolina Pirates will come for an American Athletic Conference clash.

UC (3-3, 0-3 AAC) has been a disappointment to say the least and is still licking its wounds from its 0-3 start to league play. After a bye week, the Bearcats will be desperately seeking that first conference victory as they try to salvage the 2016 season and perhaps the job of head coach Tommy Tuberville. Saturday’s game will also mark the return to the starting job for Gunner Kiel.

In its first season under head coach Scottie Montgomery, ECU (2-4, 0-2) started with a bang, beating NC State in early September. Since then, its been impossible sledding, as the Pirates have dropped four straight including their first two tests against AAC competition. Powered by the conference’s most prolific passing attack, the Pirates will be out for revenge after the Bearcats squeezed out a 19-16 win in the final seconds of last year’s meeting.
