The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team improved to 4-2 last evening, pushing past a robust Yale team, 66-52.
Senior guard Nikira Goings led the way for Cincinnati, posting 20 points in a come-from-behind victory. Yale led well into the third quarter, when the Bearcats took control on the boards (Cincinnati won the rebounding battle 51-27) and cruised to a home win at Fifth Third Arena.
Earlier this week, Cincinnati fell on the road to St. Louis University, 51-50.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday at 2 PM, playing host to Lipscomb at the Fifth Third Arena. Check back with Down the Drive for full coverage of the game.
